The DBT-Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (DBT-inStem; www.instem.res.in) is an Autonomous Institution of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India invites applications for the post of Project/Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr. Srinivasarao Repudi, Scientist – E at DBT inStem.
Qualification:-
Students having qualification with a minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech, M.Sc, in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Stem Cell Biology and Neurobiology/Neuroscience. Prior research experience in Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology and Neurobiology are preferred.
Our lab at DBT-inStem, under the theme of Modelling Neurodevelopment and Disease focused on understanding Neuron and Glia development and their cross talk in brain development and disease. We use primary cultures and human brain organoids which are either generated from CRISPR edited Embryonic Stem Cells
