UPSC Full Form – UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It is a constitutional body established by the Government of India to conduct civil services examinations and select candidates for various services and posts under the Indian government.

The UPSC conducts a range of exams including the Civil Services Examination, Indian Forest Service Examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, and others. The commission is headquartered in New Delhi and operates under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is a constitutional body in India responsible for conducting civil service examinations for recruitment to various Group A and Group B posts in the central government, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). The commission is headquartered in New Delhi and consists of a chairman and ten members.

UPSC conducts a three-stage examination process known as the Civil Services Examination (CSE) to select candidates for various civil services posts. The first stage is the preliminary examination, which is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) based test. The second stage is the main examination, which consists of a written exam and a personality test. The third stage is the interview or personality test, which is conducted for those who clear the main examination.

The UPSC is also responsible for conducting various other examinations, such as the Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination, Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination, Engineering Services Examination (ESE), National Defence Academy (NDA) examination, etc.
